likely the worst natural disaster
in u.s. history. hurricane katrina has
left a path of destruction across
louisiana. mississippi. alabama.
florida and beyond. thousands of
people. young and old are displaced
without food. shelter or electricity
and untold numbers were killed in
the fierce storm. of those who
survived. many may not be able to
return to their homes for weeks or
months and may not even have anything
to return to at all.

the cause is unknown.
it is not caused by a
fungus or bacteria. it
also is not due to any
type of allergy. _______
is not a sign of any
internal disease. like
other known viral diseases.
_______ usually occurs
only once in an individual
and it occasionally makes
a person feel slightly ill.
but the virus theory has not
been proven. unlike many
viruses. _______ does not
seem to spread from
person to person.
